Corporate volunteering initiative launched by Prime Minister Gorden Brown in 2009.

During the recession, many employees in large organisations had their hours reduced. NTB enabled them to make the most of their spare time by enhancing their skills and applying them to community needs through volunteering.

Participants included Ernst & Young, Land Registry and BT. Each got their own NTB website for their employees to find a volunteering project to get involved with.
